Gold Lunar Set
I noticed a full 1oz gold lunar set for sale on APMEX.
Price: $13,780 They also list a dragon 1oz for $1695 and a horse for $1290. That gives us $10,795 for the remaining 10 coins. I would think the snake is the most valuable of the remaining coins worth about $1195. That leaves us $9600 for the last 9 coins or about $1055 each. Not exactly a deal in my mind with $160 premium. I think you could do better by putting together a set of your own off of ebay but it might take some time. Personally, I would rather own my lunar set than 14 GAEs at this time. What do you all think about these prices? Over time will these coins premiums rise/fall/stay the same? |
Re: Gold Lunar Set
Sounds great I have a set I was thinking about selling.

Re: Gold Lunar Set
I think you'd be hard pressed to find gold lunars on ebay. They are very scarce.

Re: Gold Lunar Set
The gold lunar, or any high value silver lunar is hard to find, people just don't part with them.
I've been looking for a 1/2 kilo silver dog (one not defaced with paint) for like 6 months, they just aren't around. Ebay is better for the bullion and the low value stuff. |
